So, I am not sure if many of you know or not but I am about to leave for college!! I move in on August 14th and will be attending the University of Southern Mississippi. Go Eagles!!
I hope everyone has had a laid back summer as I know that the school year gets crazy busy for us students as well as the adults.

The silent auction this year brought in around $3,000.00 and the dinner brought in $2,000.00. We made a little over $5,000.00.
I just want to thank everyone that came out to support us in this endevor. Its people like you that make dreams come true, thank you!!!

Benefit Dinner Events
Live music will be provided through out the whole evening. We will have talented youth and adults playing all geners of music; from classical quartets to jazz piano. Our host for the evening will be Dr. Timothy James Bergman, Director of the Gulf Coast Symphony Youth Orchestra. http://www.gulfcoastsymphony.net/
Due to popular demand, doors will open at 6:00 p.m for our silent auction. The auction will include over 5 painted violins from well known artists across the Gulf Coast as well as many other items.
Four course meal/ Four wine pours:
First course will be served at 7:00 p.m along with your first pour of the evening. The dinner will last to 8:30.
All proceeds will go toward supporting current and future projects of Strings With Wings, inc.

At our last meeting we have decided to start a new program called a
This program is when a family or corporation adopts a child in our music program in Mexico. Your monthly payment will go toward his/her private lessons as well as saving money for the child to come to the United States to study violin. We have decided to take the top 5 students who are older than 12 years old. We will host them in homes on the gulf coast.

We are having our benefit dinner April 26th 2009 at Salute Italian restaurant.
Doors will open at 6:00p.m. for Silent Auction followed by first course at 7:00p.m
We are pre-selling tickets,
pre-sold tickets cost $65.00 per person
tickets at the door $75.00 per person
